Credo Reference: This database might be a good place to begin for general information on your chosen species. Credo will provide encyclopedic information that is similar to Wikipedia.
Use the Galileo Discover search box (top of this page) to search for research articles on your chosen species. Remember you may have to do more than one search to cover all of the required elements of your assignment!!
If you choose any websites, make sure you use the CRAAP Test (see Evaluating Sources tab). You may use the CRAAP test worksheet on this page to help you evaluate any web sources, and also other sources.
Use the catalog (bottom of this page) to search for any books on your topic. Pay close attention to the publication date! You may want to resort your results by Date Descending so that newer items are pulled to the top!
Knowing how information is created and how it evolves over time will help you better understand what types of sources will have the information you need. It will also help you when evaluating your sources for content and accuracy.
