Here is a snapshot of a bibliography section of a paper. You may also see it titled "References" or "Works Cited," depending on which citation style the author used. The references included in the scholarly sources that you find can help you find additional resources, so always spend some time looking through that bibliography!
Take notes! Notice these parts of each source to see if you find a clue:
- journals where these sources are found
- author's names
- terminology that might be used as additional search terms
Always compare bibliographies. If you see sources listed in as a resource for multiple sources - that might be a clue that the article is an important one in the field!
