Course Reserves at SSU

Request Course Reserves Online Here

Asa H. Gordon Library has opened course reserve requests for the Spring 2024 semester.

The form is digital this year, so please request course reserves using the Microsoft form linked below. If you are submitting a personal copy of a book or article to be placed on reserve, please fill out the form online and then bring the item to the circulation desk at the library.

Placing an Item on Reserve

To place an item on reserve for one of your courses:

  • Fill out the Online Course Reserve Request Form linked above.
    • (Note: You must be signed into your SSU email to access the form.)
  • If you are using a library copy, the library will pull it from the shelf and place it on reserve.
  • If you are submitting a personal copy, first fill out the form and then bring related materials to the library's Circulation Desk to be placed on reserve. The library is open Monday - Thursday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Items Eligible for Course Reserve

  • Books or A/V materials (DVD/VHS/CD) owned by the library
  • Books or A/V materials owned by SSU instructors 
  • Photocopies of book chapters or articles (subject to USG's Copyright Policy)

(NOTE: Personal copies will be available for instructor pickup at the Circulation Desk for two weeks after the end of the semester.  Personal copies will not be delivered to instructors' offices.)
