Accessing physical collections (printed books, DVDs, printed periodicals, etc):

• The Gordon Library's 2nd floor has reopened to students, faculty and staff. Please enjoy browsing our collections. 
• Patrons may place holds on materials that are available for borrowing. Please see the Q&A box below with instructions on how to place a book on hold so that it is waiting for you at the circulation desk. Please give staff 24 hours to respond to hold requests.

How do I find books, DVDs, and CDs to check out?
You can search for books in the library catalog, GIL Find.

Can I browse the shelves?
Yes! The second floor is open to the public, so feel free to go upstairs to find books.

Can I put a book on hold to pick up later?
Yes! If you find a book in the library catalog that you want to put on hold, follow these steps to put the book on hold.

1. Click on LOG IN FOR SERVICES (See the screenshot below.)


2. Enter your Tigerworld credentials if you are a student. If you are staff or faculty and need help with a library account, please call the library at (912) 358-4324.
   


3. Click the Request link to put a hold on the book, circled in the screenshot below.. 


4. Fill out any information (not required) and click REQUEST. Your book should be available within 1 business day. Please call the library if you need it sooner. (912) 358-4324
