Finding Journals

Asa H. Gordon Library subscribes to many print and electronic research journals, popular magazines, and newspapers - in addition to the many that we have access to through GALILEO. Use the quick tips to the right or select the tabs at the top of the guide for instructions on finding relevant periodicals.

When looking for journals, it is best to search GIL-Find Catalog. You can also look for title lists for specific databases in GALILEO.

Quick Tips:

• To search by journal title, use the Find Journals page of the GIL Find Catalog. For step-by-step instructions, go to Finding Journals by Title in GIL Find.
• To search for journals by subject, follow the steps on the page Browse Journals by Subject in GIL Find.
• To find specific databases and journal packages like American Chemical Society or JSTOR, use the GALILEO ALL DATABASES page or the A to Z Databases page.

• Contact your liaison librarian, listed below, for help.
• Request an article through Interlibrary Loan. See the Interlibrary Loan Information tab and the Article/Book Chapter request form in the menu to the left.
